Renal Advantage Inc. Announces Acquisition In Maryland

Increases Presence in Mid-Atlantic Market

Brentwood, Tennessee (December 5, 2007) – Renal Advantage Inc. (RAI), the third largest for-profit provider of dialysis services in the United States, today announced that it has increased its presence in the Mid-Atlantic market through the addition of a freestanding dialysis center located in Hyattsville, Maryland. This transaction, for which terms were not announced, was completed on December 4, 2007.

The new facility, located at 2426 Chillum Road, Hyattsville, Maryland, is now known as RAI Care Center of Hyattsville. This acquisition adds over 29 patient treatment stations and more than 160 patients.

In commenting on this transaction, Michael D. Klein, chief executive officer of Renal Advantage, said, “We are very pleased to have added this dialysis center to the 84 which we operate across ten states. This acquisition enhances our presence in Maryland and Virginia where we have several other RAI Care Centers. We are currently integrating services and support for the Hyattsville center and their patients, and we expect a smooth transition designed to ensure continuity of high quality patient care. This transaction confirms RAI’s ability to expand its business operations and accelerate organic growth in or adjacent to its existing markets.”
