Renal Advantage Increases Presence in California Through Addition of Two Dialysis Centers

Brentwood, Tenn. ( June 14, 2007)

Renal Advantage Inc. (RAI), the third largest for-profit provider of dialysis services in the United States, today announced that it has increased its presence in the California market through the addition of two freestanding dialysis centers. The two separate transactions, for which terms were not announced, were completed on June 1, 2007, following final regulatory approval from the California Department of Health Services.

The Company acquired a facility located at 6000 Fairway Drive, Suite 14, Rocklin, California, now known as RAI Care Center of Rocklin, and entered into a joint venture through which RAI purchased a majority interest in a facility located at 1275 West C Street, Colton, California, now known as RAI Care Center of Colton. Through these two acquisitions, which represent a combined 34 stations, Renal Advantage added approximately 150 patients.
In commenting on the two transactions, Michael D. Klein, chief executive officer of Renal Advantage, said, “We are very pleased to have completed these two transactions, which brings the number of centers Renal Advantage operates to 82 across ten states.
