Renalab Receives Accreditation from College of American Pathologists (CAP)

Brentwood, Tennessee (January 30, 2007)

Renal Advantage Inc., the fourth largest provider of dialysis services in the United States, today announced that RenaLab, the Company?s independent clinical laboratory facility based in Jackson, Mississippi, has been awarded an accreditation by the Commission on Laboratory Accreditation of the College of American Pathologists (CAP). Renal Advantage Inc. recently purchased RenaLab after having managed the laboratory for eight months prior to the purchase.

During a recent on-site inspection, CAP inspectors examined the laboratory?s records and quality control of procedures for the preceding two years. Inspectors also examined the entire staff?s qualifications, the laboratory?s equipment, facilities, safety program and record, as well as the overall management of the laboratory. Established in the early 1960s, the goal of the CAP Laboratory Accreditation Program is to ensure the highest standard of care for laboratory patients.

In commenting on the announcement, Michael D.
